Teaching

Peter has been one of London’s leading cellists for many years. He studied at the Guildhall School of music with the legendary William Pleeth. A contemporary student was Jacqueline Du Pre. Peter was also a member of the London Philharmonic Orchestra and recently the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra. In early music he was a member of the renowned Jaye Consort and the London Early Music Group. He has taken part in recitals and masterclasses world wide and was often a recitalist on the South Bank.

Peter is Professor Emeritus at the London College of Music.

Peter teaches modern cello, baroque cello, viola da gamba and viol.
